Folks,

   I have gone ahead and created a blog for this new proto-Special Interest
Group on Blogs, Wikis and Podcasting:

   I would like to put together a list of authors for this list, who will share
the responsibilities of managing this blog--administrative and content-wise. 
If you would like to know more about this volunteer position (e.g. specific
responsibilities, term, etc.), please email me directly at
leach at physics.harvard.edu (please put "ASIST SIG-BWP Author Query" in the
subject header--it will speed my reply).  FYI, I am traveling in Asia and
Europe till 26 August, so email will be spotty during this period, so folks may
not get a reply from me right away.

    Along with the recently lauched electronic discussion list, we are nearly
all the way there in terms of communication support for this new proto-SIG.  By
early September we should have the wiki in place.

     Comments, ideas, suggestions are always welcomed.
