Broadly Narrow - The Challenges of Selecting: from Specialized Libraries to Statewide Sharing

Join us for the inaugural Collection Management Community of Interest event from Fenway Libraries Online.  This event will feature a presentation on collecting for specialized libraries from Joanne Doucette, the Associate Professor and Associate Director of the Henrietta DeBenedictis Library, at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The second half of the event will feature a panel discussion with some members of the All-FLO Collection Development Committee (ACDC) from Fenway Libraries Online.  ACDC will discuss the challenging process of developing the academic content profile for the Commonwealth eBook Collections (CeC).  Hear the trials and successes of from both ends of the collection management spectrum, and get a chance to ask your collection management questions to our panelists.

This event is free, but registration is required.

This is a half-day event.
