Simmons GSLIS Continuing Education Workshop
Fundraising 101
Online: March 1 - 31, 2009
$250 (Simmons GSLIS Alums $200)

This workshop will focus on fundraising in libraries including working
within a fundraising structure, developing a fundraising plan,
identifying specific needs, identifying prospects, how to ask for money,
and the importance of stewardship. Participants will read relevant
articles, develop proposals, and discuss their specific fundraising needs.
Faculty:Claudia J. Morner is the former Dean of the Library at the
University of New Hampshire and Vice President of JMA Consultants
Incorporated. She has extensive experience in raising funds and working
with development staff; claudia.morner at simmons.edu
