Hello,

A free unconference this weekend (June 3-4) at Monster Worldwide in 
Maynard, Massachusetts, BarCamp encourages collaborating on, 
networking related to, and the sharing of tech projects and 
information technology. It's a fabulous opportunity to learn about 
what's going on the tech world, especially locally!

One of my friends, who's involved in organizing BarCamp, e-mailed me 
to ask if I could encourage librarians/archivists/information 
professionals/etc. to participate. A few have signed up already!

Some of the excitement you might find there include sessions about 
weblogs and related technology (XML/RSS/Atom feeds, podcasting, video 
blogging, etc.), OPML, wikis, Linux, tagging, news readers, Open ACS, 
.LRN, and lots more!
