Hi folks!

ASIST & SLA are definitely invited to the following event. ASIST
co-sponsored Don Gemberling's talk with TIPR a couple of weeks ago. They
(which include some of us) are a very interesting group. 

Sadly I will be out of town but I think this will be a very fun event - and
an opportunity to see the new library both form the point of view of other
librarians and other potentially avid users.

Plans have been confirmed for the next gathering of the Telecommunications
and Information Policy Roundtable (TIPR).  We will meet on Monday, June
12, 5:00 p.m. at the Minneapolis Public Library!  Even better, Library
Director Kit Hadley, will speak to us.  And, for the proverbial frosting
on the magnificent cake, Helen Burke will lead a guided tour of the new
library.  This is open to all who may be interested.  I will be sending
details on parking and exact room location.  I just wanted to be sure this
is on your calendar.  Please share the information with others.  Mary
