PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Would you like to improve your ability to speak effectively in formal
presentations, whether asking for money at a budget meeting, teaching a
class, advocating for the library or asking your staff to do even more?
In her practical and good-humored way, Pat Wagner will demonstrate how
to lower your stress, improve the effectiveness of your message, design
and practice delivering your message, and deal with unexpected
challenges and technical mistakes.

After the program, participants will be able to:
. Identify and apply principles of presenting to adult audiences
. Time an outline for a presentation
. Identify the main points of a presentation
. Use peer coaching to improve your performance, or someone else's
. Know how to deal with stage fright and hecklers

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Pat Wagner, of Pattern Research, Inc., has been working as a consultant

audiences. Pat was also a college instructor and taught adult education
