[Lacasis-l] LACASIST Travel Scholarships to ASIST Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

The Los Angeles Chapter of the Association for Information Science and
Technology (LACASIST) will provide financial assistance for 1 student to
attend the 2017 ASIST Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

The Annual Margaret McKinley Student Scholarship Essay Competition will
provide up to $1,000 to support attendance at the the ASIS&T Annual Meeting
from October 27 to November 1, 2017, in Washington, D.C. This will be used
to cover registration, airfare and hotel expenses up to $1,000 AND a
one-year ASIST membership.

Two runners-up will receive one-year memberships in ASIST.
