(Room 23167): http://www.library.ucla.edu/yrl/west-classroom; Link to live
webcast will be sent this week.
Join in-person or via webcast to learn the basics of data visualization and
charts to present datasets on the web with no programming. Kristian Allen
from the Digital Library Program at UCLA Library will cover the proper
format to structure your data for use with common web tools and review some
popular charting and visualization frameworks available, including Google
Charts and Fusion tables.
Have a dataset you'd like to see come to life? Kristian is accepting
example library datasets to be visualized during the session. Contact
Sharon Shafer at sshafer at library.ucla.edu to share your dataset for
visualization!
This is a free event open to all, registration not required.
