*Question*
Do you approve the election of Gerry Grenier to the position of
Vice-Chair of the NISO Board of Directors for 2013-2014 and Chair for
2014-2015?

*Description*
This is part one of a two-part official 2013 ballot for the NISO Board
of Directors' Officers. This part is a ballot for the position of
Vice-Chair.



ALL MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO VOTE ON THIS BALLOT.



Pursuant to NISO's Bylaws, the Nominations Committee has nominated Gerry
Grenier, Senior Director, Publishing Technologies at IEEE, Inc., a NISO
Voting Member to stand for election as Vice Chair of the NISO Board of
Directors. Mr. Grenier currently serves NISO as a Director on the NISO
Board. The Vice Chair will succeed to the Chair position following the
expiration of the incoming Chair's term on July 1, 2014.



This is an official 6-week ballot and closes on June 19, 2012



Here is a biographical statement for Mr. Grenier:



Gerry Grenier is a developer and manager of online information systems
with 25 years of publishing industry experience. He is a seasoned team
leader, technical manager, and product manager. He is interested in the
future of information distribution and the effect that technology will
continue to bear on the dissemination of knowledge.
