SILS 80th Anniversary Event - "Should Librarians Care About Privacy Anymore?" A Webinar
Date: February 3, 2012
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Peabody Hall room F08, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Mark your calendar for a special UNC at Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science (SILS) 80th Anniversary presentation, titled, "Should Librarians Care About Privacy Anymore?"
The event will feature Barbara Jones, director of the American Library Association Office for Intellectual Freedom, and a panel discussion, which will include panelists:
* Anne Klinefelter, associate professor of Law and director of the UNC at Chapel Hill Law Library
* Christopher (Cal) Lee, SILS associate professor
* Zeynep Tufekci, SILS associate professor
SILS Dean, Gary Marchionini, will moderate the panel discussion.
The event will be held as both an onsite meeting and a webinar. The public meeting is free, however space is limited for the physical meeting. If you can attend, please contact Wake Harper at wharper at email.unc.edu or call 919.962.8366.
