Description
Many people use Google on a daily basis. It's simple interface and
page-ranking make it a great search engine. However, there is more to
Google than just simple keyword searching. In this session, Glen will
discuss some of the lesser-known ways to get better results from your
searches.
In addition, Glen will demo some of the features, tricks, and hacks that
make Google more than just a search engine. Did you know that Google has
a built in dictionary, spell checker, calculator, unit converter, and
phone book? Did you know that you can get custom Google News sent to you
via e-mail or RSS? Want to put a Google search form on your web site?
Want a map of all the pizza places near you?
Join us for an informative (and entertaining) look at our favorite
search engine. At the end of the presentation, Glen will use Google to
find the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
