FACULTY AND RESEARCH POSITIONS
Applications and nominations are invited for the following positions:
** Three positions: These nine (9) month faculty positions (Assistant,
Associate, and Full Professor) whose teaching and research
specializations must reflect the following areas: Foundations in
Information Services; Cognitive Science; Communication and Information
Networks; Database Systems, Data-Mining, Informatics; Information
Retrieval, Knowledge Representation; Meta-Analysis Research, and Systems
Analysis and Projects Management.
Minimum academic and professional qualifications require a Doctorate in
a discipline whose theories and principles support communication and
information transfer, demonstrated leadership and external fund-raising
abilities, and commitment to a market centered education delivery system
for a diverse multi-cultural, multi-ethnic student population.
** Director of Research and Advanced Studies: A 12 month, fixed term
full-time position currently contingent upon grant funding (Full
Professor) who under the direct supervision of the Dean of the School
will be responsible for planning, implementing and general oversight of
teaching and research beyond the master's degree programs.
Minimum academic and professional qualifications require a Doctorate in
a discipline that supports teaching and research in Information
Sciences, significant research and publication record including
obtaining and conducting sponsored research, and documented theoretical
research that is recognized as seminal by peers in the scientific and
academic communities.
