Apologies for cross-postings!
We are offering one or two PhD studentships on Data Mining and Learning at
the Faculty of Education in the University of Hong Kong. The PhD
dissertations will be related and partially supported by a research project
funded by the Research Grants Council. The project aims to design, develop,
and evaluate automated and interactive approaches to assessment in
Wiki-based Learning Environment.
Starting date: Fall 2015
Duration: 3 or 4 years
Benefit: Full Tuition and a Stipend of HKD 14,500/month
REQUIREMENTS
1. Good academic background (Master's degree) in Information Science,
Education, Computer Science or related field.
2. Students with interests and experience in computing technologies, data
mining, machine learning, and/or natural language processing are
particularly encouraged to apply.
3. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
