> provide research assistance opportunities for full-time students. 
> Standard SOIS PAships ill consist of a 33% appointment. The PAship 
> covers tuition and benefits, and provides a stipend in return for 
> approximately 13 hours of service per week.Appointments will be 
> increased to 50% after the first academic year in the program. 
> Teaching Assistantships (TAships) are available to more senior 
> students in the program. Awarded PA/TAships may be for the academic 
> year (9 months) or the full year (12 months). PA/TAships can be 
> renewed for four years pending successful completion of PA/TA
