> In the German "Competence Centre for Bibliometrics" (KB), funded by
> the BMBF, the Institute for Research Information and Quality
> Assurance (iFQ), the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation
> Research (ISI) and the Institute for Science and Technology Studies
> (IWT) at Bielefeld University have joined forces. Bibliometrics is
> the quantitative analysis of publications such as research papers and
> books. It en-ables insights into the publication output and resonance
> of authors and institutions. The KB aims to develop and improve
> bibliometric methods for the analysis of struc-tures and achievements

> We invite applications for 3 PhD positions (2x part-time 50%
