Hello,
I am working on my doctoral research project at the University of Baltimore. I am studying the place and value of software development tools in academia. Software tools are widely used in industry. However, there appears to be a significant disconnect when it comes to education of future IT professionals and these tools.
If you can identify yourself as one or more of the following, I invite you to share your opinions on software development tools and academia by taking my survey:
- Working IT professional
- Teaching college level courses in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Database Design or related information technology disciplines
- Taking such college level courses
In return, I will share the results with you. The survey should only take between 10 to 15 minutes. Just click on this link: http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB225GMQPA3UA.
If you know people who may be interested and qualified to take the survey, please forward this email to them. It is greatly appreciated.
Your responses are both confidential and anonymous. If you have questions about the survey or would like a copy of the study results, please write to me mailto:ynemchinova at umuc.edu.
I appreciate your interest.
Thank you,
Yulia Nemchinova
