I am sure there are a number of people in ASIS who are engaged in R&D
that are of utility to the Emergency Management area. Please feel
free to forward the material to both researchers and practitioners
concerned with Information or Communication Systems (as well as
command and control) for all phases of emergency management and
preparedness. We have 22 special sessions, 8 of which are from
outside the US. In addition there are three workshops on future
requirements and the role of auditors as well as a PhD colloquium. I
am sending this to SIGVIS, SIGHCI, and SIGTIS which I am a member of.
