"The Essentials of Project Management: Planning, Executing, and Completing
Successful Projects."
Project Management is being called the "#1 job skill in the 21st century
workplace". Today's demanding environment of fast change, tighter deadlines
and smaller budgets has placed a new emphasis on project management as a
reliable process for organizing and getting work accomplished in a manner
that insures the unique needs of customers are met, while valuable resources
(money, time, and people) are efficiently utilized. Whether the project is
simple or complex - making things happen, getting results, dealing
effectively with change, maximizing resources, and meeting deadlines are all
the result of good project management. This course is designed for those who
are new to project management, as well as those who have had some experience
managing projects. The tools and principles taught in this program are based
on the Project Management Institute's standard - Project Management Body of
Knowledge.
In 1997, Bob founded the Omega Leadership Group and committed the second
half of his career to teaching and inspiring a passion for excellence. His
extensive, hands-on business and project management experience combined with
his strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills creates a
dynamic atmosphere for learning. Bob's consulting and training work has
earned the respect of clients such as Kroger, Lexmark, Cincinnati Bell,
Mercy Health Partners, Provident Bank, Toyota and National City Mortgage. He
is also a presenter on the topic of project management with the executive
education programs at the University of Kentucky, Kent State University, and
The Ohio State University.
