The School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University welcomes applications for the following Postdoctoral Research Fellowship position:



Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow in Information Studies

* Full time, Fixed term (until 31 December 2013)

* Level A/B - $79,919 - $107,239 (Including 17% Superannuation)

* Wagga Wagga, Australia



The Faculty of Education is one of the largest Faculties of Education in Australia with over 5,500 students and 140 academic and general staff. The Faculty offers a wide range of courses in teacher education, information studies and human movement studies and is recognised internationally for the quality and diversity of its distance education.



As part of CSU's Faculty of Education, the School of Information Studies is Australia's largest provider of online education for the information professions with over 1,700 students and over 20 academic staff. The School's research activities are organised into three broad programs designed to build research capacity and foster collaboration.



The Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow in Information Studies will participate in one or more of the School's research programs, working closely with co-investigators across all facets of the research process.



The position is essentially research-only, but the successful candidate has the option of negotiating a small teaching fraction to accommodate their projected career path.
