SIGUSE Interdisciplinary Conference Travel Awards

SIGUSE is pleased to announce the addition of new awards that financially help 
SIGSUE members to attend conferences in fields *related* to information science (e.g., cognate fields such as computer science, communication, information systems, etc.).

Three awards of $200.00 each are now available.

The application process is very simple.  Please send all applications as an email attachment to Julie Hersberger, Awards Chair, at jahersbe at uncg.edu.

Indicate:

1) The name of the person attending the conference?
2) What field/area does the conference cover?
3) The title of the conference.  Please
   to spell out any acronyms.
4) Conference dates and a URL if available.
5) Indicate if you have attended this conference before (for information
   only, not a judging criteria).
6) Why attendance at this conference would benefit you personally
   and SIGUSE in general. (200 words or less)

NOTE: APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 26TH. Judging will be a blind peer review process. You must be a member of SIGUSE to apply.

Award winners will be notified NOVEMBER 6th.
