POSITION AVAILABLE

TITLE: Computer Database/Programming Specialist
DURATION: Full-time or part-time. Two year position with possible extension.
DUTIES: Assemble diverse data sets from regional 
ecological study.  Establish metadata standards 
and make data sets accessible online.  Contribute 
to programming of an ecological model using Visual Basic for Applications.

BACKGROUND:     Bachelors degree or equivalent 
experience in computer science with emphasis on 
database management or programming.  Interest and 
experience in ecology or natural resources 
preferred.  Experience with web design helpful.

CLOSING DATE:    Review of applications to begin June 1, 2009
