[Sigsti-l] Seeking input for SIG/STI annual report

Hello, everyone, 

It's the time of the year again--we need to submit the annual report
for SIG/STI before 9/1. In order to include everything our members did
in the last year, I am asking your help--send me information for any
activity related to SIG/STI you did in the past year (up to the annual
conference in Austin, TX). For a starter, I have these items:

-Communication: two issues of newsletter distributed to members of
SIG/STI
-Workshops: Dec. 2005: Daser 2 summit in Coolege Park, Maryland, Daser
3 is in planning to take place as a pre-conference at the annual 2006
-Student award: CAS once again sponsored the student travel award and
the winner this year is congyan Zhao from Dalhousie University
-??? More, please add
