IMMEDIATE OPENING - BIOMEDICAL INFORMATION SCIENTIST - BOSTON

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, seeks an experienced 
information professional with expertise in scientific and medical databases 
as well as Dialog, DataStar, STN, etc. The ideal candidate will possess a 
BS, MS or PhD. in biology or other life science and have 3+ years of 
experience in providing information in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or 
healthcare organization. Ability to work with global teams or local teams. 
This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the art R&D facility.

The mission of the Information Scientist will be to efficiently provide 
end-users with concise, distilled research and current awareness that 
supports the company's work. Apart from planning, designing and executing 
the research, the Information Scientist will evaluate new databases and 
systems and will participate in Global IS&L teams. They will train users 
and provide consultation in the use of MEDLINE, DataStar, STN, Embase and 
other electronic resources.

Other necessary skills are the ability to communicate effectively, to work
