                  SIG Management Call for Papers
                             Due Jan. 17

The SIG Management is seeking contributed papers covering management issues in
information service organizations such as motivation and perception; group
dynamics and conflict; teams; power; leadership; organizational structure,
change, and communication; and strategy.

SIG Management is also seeking papers covering information-related management
issues in other types of organizational settings, including for-profit,
not-for-profit, and non-governmental organizations. These can cover issues such
as the following: information behavior of managers or professionals; managing
information-related financial or human resources; information-related economics
of the unit and the enterprise; and the effectiveness of information cycle
activities.

All papers submitted in response to this call should be submitted to ASIST and
follow the guidelines for contributed papers given in the 2004 ASIST Annual
Conference Call for papers.

SIG Management will propose a session at the Annual Conference to host these
contributed papers.
