[Sigmetrics] CfP Accelerated Academy - deadline extended

Dear colleagues,

We would like to inform you that the deadline has been extended for the 
call for papers for the second international conference on ‘The 
Accelerated Academy: Power, Evaluation and Metrics in Academic Life’.

The new deadline for submitting a presentation abstract is 15 September 
2016 (for further details see attached call for papers).

The conference aims to draw together research and reflections on recent 
accelerations toward metric-based forms of evaluation and explore 
consequences this may hold for research and academic life more 
generally. Confirmed keynote speakers include: Michael Power (LSE), 
Ulrike Felt (Univ. Vienna), and Peter Dahler-Larsen (Univ. Copenhagen).

The event will be held in Leiden, the Netherlands, 30th Nov. - 2 
December 2016.

Registration is free for all participants, although space is limited.

We look forward to seeing you in Leiden!
