Thank you very much for your letter. To answer your question, I am writing following sentence: 

Comments to various publications, including my article that has just published in the VSP, may serve to various functions, including criticism, presentation of the scientometric data on the topic, requests for clarification, adding supplemental materials, etc. 

Perhaps the SIGMETRICS group has an interest in such activity, especially scientometrics.
