Dear Colleagues and Hildrun in particular,
We are aware of this unfortunate situation. Due to limited facilities in Leiden and logistics we were/are not able to change the date. I already contacted Bern on this before.
It should be noted however that in your original 1st announcement (posted 7 October), the dates were 5-7 Sept. Still we were aware of the overlap of at least one day.
With the current interest on the topics in general and the fact that there is a slightly different focus, I am sure we can both make our events successful.
We will create a link to your conference on our website (to be launched soon).

15th COLLNET Meeting
September 3-5, 2014 Ilmenau, Germany
is already announced on the website above. This conference will be held partially at similar topics but at the same time as your planned conference.
