Launch of the 4th ed. of the I-UGR Rankings of Spanish Universities

Dear colleagues,

We have just released the 4th edition of the I-UGR Rankings by fields and
disciplines of Spanish Universities. This ranking by fields was developed
due to the lack of visibility of Spanish universities in international
university rankings. It offers 12 rankings by broad fields and 37 rankings
by scientific disciplines. The rankings are available at:

It is based on data from the Web of Science and ranks universities
according to the IFQ2A Index, which is based on six bibliometric indicators
taking into account the qualitative and quantitative dimensions of
research. This rankings are developed jointly by the EC3 Research
Group<http://ec3.ugr.es>from the University of Granada and the
University of Navarra (Daniel
Torres-Salinas, Nicolás Robinson-García, Emilio Delgado López-Cózar)
and theSoft Computing and Intelligent Information Systems -
SCI2S<http://sci2s.ugr.es> from the University of Granada (Francisco
Herrera, Isaac Triguero).
