The "*4th International Symposium on Information Management in a Changing
World*" (*IMCW2013*) co-organized by Hacettepe University Department of
Information Management, Turkey and Limerick Institute of Technology,
Ireland. The symposium will take place in Limerick, Ireland, from 4-6
September 2013. "*Beyond the Cloud: Information...Innovation...Collaboration...*"
being the main theme, IMCW2013 aims to bring together information
professionals, computer and information scientists, business people and
engineers to discuss the implications of cloud computing on information
management and to contemplate on how to design and develop innovative and
collaborative information services beyond the cloud.
The *keynote speakers* are:
Dr. *Clifford Lynch*, Coalition for Networked Information (CNI): "Cloud
Architectures and Cultural Memory";
*Marshall Breeding*, Independent consultant and author of Cloud Computing
for Libraries (ALA TEchsource, 2012): "Cloud Computing: A New Generation
of Technology Enables Deeper Collaboration";
*Christian Verstraete*, Chief Technologist - Cloud, Hewlett-Packard: "Cloud
Computing, beyond the Hype, a Vehicle for Innovation".
