Dear all,
Regarding h-index, I have a basic question.
Can you please help me?
Sorry for not getting it right!

Question:
h-index is the number of papers with citation number
more than or equal to h.
I wish to know the advantage of taking only h papers having
more than or equal to h citations. Why not h+1 or some
other number? What is the mathematical logic?

Best wishes,

Prabir
