In October 2006 the International Journal of Epidemiology reprinted my 
1955 article in Science and invited comments from several authors.  
Unfortunately, we failed to post the following commentary by Porta et al.  
We have also listed below the other relevant commentaries from the journal 
issue -- all of which are now freely available.
