Access problem

I use Lotus Notes 5.6 by default, set up on my university server, with only
limited tweaking availble locally. The upside is rock steady reliability.

 There is a 64k limit on the size of any field or paragraph. About once a
month I therefore cannot open post from this list. Do others have this
problem? Is there a workaround?

(NB It is not possible to forward the incoming posts - same error message)
