e-journals citation rate

Dear SIGMETRICS subscribers,

i would like to know if there's a recent study about the rate of citation of e-journals, free or not, versus the printed journals.

I would like to know as well, if there are some bibliometrics studies on this subject.

All the articles that i've found are a little bit old.
