"On Friday, March 16, 2001, the Society for Science Research, Berlin,
(Gesellschaft für Wissenschaftsforschung e.V.) and the Institute for
Library Science at the Humboldt University of Berlin will hold a
colloquium under the title "Patterns in scientific communication - The
Matthew effect in science and beyond" ("Strukturen in der
wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation - Der Matthäuseffekt in der
Wissenschaft") to mark the 70th birthday of Dr. Manfred Bonitz. The
colloquium will take place at the Institute for Library Science located at
Dorotheenstrasse 26 (the room will be posted locally).
