Micro/Macro Distinction

Hi,

Could anyone advise as to whether R.J.W. Tijssen was the first to employ
the terms "micro" and "macro" in connection with informetric mapping?
(R.J.W. Tijssen et al., "Integrating Multiple Sources of Information in
Literature-Based Maps of Science", Journal of Information Science 16(4):
217-227.) Also... has anyone seen the use of the term "meso" in this
connection?
