Hi all,
  I updated the SIGMETRICS Web site this week, and would like to share a
few items with you.

  As of 26 July 2000, the SIGMETRICS listserv included 216 members, and
representatives from 31 countries (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil,
Canada, China, Cuba, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland,
Israel, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway,
Portugal, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden,
Turkey, UK, US) according to participant domain names.

100 participants have country-specific domain names. The most frequently
appearing are Brazil (11), Canada (9), and Denmark and the UK (7 each).

116 are in the .edu (62), .com (31), .net, .org, .gov, and .mil
domains.

I invite comment and suggestions:  I doubt if this reflects the authorship
patterns of the sub-discipline. Or should it?
