ABSTRACT:  The authors analyse the pattern of citation of the papers
published by ARDEOLA between 1983 and 1996 according to the authors who
cited them, the research topics and the use of scientific literature by
their authors. Then, they compare this results with the patterns of
other similar journals in the JCR. As conclussion, they suggest not to
exlude this journal from the JCR.
