Dear SIG/MET officers,

First of all I'm happy to announce that SIG/MET has been selected as SIG of
the year. A huge thank you to all of you and especially to Isabella for
making this happen!

As you probably know, our workshop is taking place on *Friday, 14. October
2016, 9:00-17:00*, at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. Please don't
forget to register at
https://www.asist.org/events/annual-meeting/annual-meeting-2016/register/.

Our *business meeting* is taking place *Tuesday, 18. October, 11:45-13:00*.
The room is still to be determined.

As every year, we have to elect new SIG/MET officers for the upcoming year.
Current officers are listed on our homepage:
https://www.asist.org/SIG/SIGMET/about-sigmet/officers/

Please let me know:

   - if you'd be interested to keep your officer position for the next term,
   - would like to suggest/become a new officer, and
   - if you'd be able to attend the SIG/MET business meeting either in
   person or via Google Hangouts.

Let me know, if you have any questions or suggestions for the business
meeting!

Best,

Stefanie
