Dear SIGMet officers,

some of the events at the Annual Meeting in Seattle require attendance of the SIG officers,
i.e.

1)       Sunday Nov. 2 (8:30am) SIG Cabinet

2)       Sunday Nov. 2 (noon) New Members and First Conference Brunch

3)       Sunday Nov. 2 (7pm) Welcome reception and SIG rush
Who will be in Seattle and is willing to attend any of these meetings? Please let me know via email.

Moreover, I'd like to inform you about following SIGMet-related activities during the Annual Meeting:
1)      Panel on "Informetrics, bibliometrics,  altmetrics: What is it all about?" - Nov. 4 (10:30am to 12am). More information: http://www.asis.org/SIG/SIGMET/activities/panel2014/
2)      SIGMetrics workshop - Nov. 5 (all day). Call for abstracts: http://www.asis.org/SIG/SIGMET/metrics2014

4)      SIG Met Business Meeting - Nov. 4 or Nov. 5 (tba)
