[Sigmet-officers] EBRP dataset status

Dear Judit,

dear all,

it's a pity that the decision process takes so long - especially when I
remember how excited and confident Gali was when talking about this plan in
Baltimore

Well, I assume we experience some kind of bureaucracy here.

I agree with Judit and Vincent - we should not mention the data in our CfP.

@Sean: the logo looks very nice on the flyer - what a happy accident that
the colors match :-)

Best

Isabella

Dear All,

I asked Gali when we can expect the EBRP dataset. The answer is that they do
not know yet, as a new database is being set up. She'll probably be able to
let us know about the status of the dataset by June 1 (i.e. then she'll be
able to give a time estimate for receiving the data). I don't think that we
can wait for this, and we should go ahead with the CFP without mentioning
the dataset. Hopefully we'll have the dataset by the time of the workshop,
and we could introduce the dataset to the workshop participants, who can
then work with it and come back next year with results.

Regards,

Judit

Wait, I might have been thinking of another Vienna! ;)

Here it is with the logo. The logo colors match the web site's!

I extracted the logo. Attaching that in case anyone would like a copy.
