[Sigmet-officers] Workshop CFP

Dear Cassidy,

Overall the call looks fine. Two questions:
1) Isn't the September 15 deadline too late for people who need visas for
Canada?
2) Last year we were able to subsidize the workshop registration fee for
the students from the funding we received from Elsevier. Could we hint on
this? I would not like to commit before we actually have a clear commitment
from Elsevier, but we  might try to say something on this (don't exactly
know what).

I don't think that we need to convene or list the program committee now.
