[Sigmet-officers] Webinars, Bulletin and preparation for the annual meeting

Dear all,

There was a consensus that both Angela's and Jason's ideas for webinar 
look great and that we should proceed wit them. We need to decide on 
pricing. Any suggestions? Once we decide on pricing and the dates that 
would work best for Angela and Jason, I can go ahead and send emails to 
ASIST to set this in motion.

Last year's student paper contest worked fine. Any suggestions for 
changes? Chaoqun and Carrie, can you please write a draft of the call? 
We should be sending the call out as soon as possible.

Also, we need to send a call out for the Workshop and formulate a call 
for panels/sessions we want to sponsor at the annual meeting. We should 
start drafting these calls. We can use the last years call as the 
starting point. I'll set a Google docs for those so that we can all 
contribute.

We have also agreed to do a special issue of the Bulletin. Cassidy and I 
will be co-editors. The deadline for the issue is June 15. We need about 
6 authors for a total of around 18,000 words. Are any of you interested 
in contributing? Do you have any suggestions on potential contributors 
who are not officers?
