Thanks for suggesting that we should have a representative at the New Members/Attendees Brunch, for asking for volunteers, and for volunteering to represent us.  
 
I will be in New Orleans from Friday, so I can definitely attend that event.  Would you prefer me to take this one on, given that a delay in your flight might result in your being late for the event?

Dear SIG Officers,

At the ASIS&T 2011 Annual Meeting, the ASIS&T Membership Committee will
be hosting the "New Members and First Conference Attendees Brunch" to
welcome new ASIS&T members and first-time attendees on October 9, 2011
at noon. We would like to invite a spokesperson from each SIG to give
an elevator speech for your SIG. You may sit and eat, enjoy new
friends, and then do a short (3 minute) introduction about your group.

Please contact Rong Tang (rong.tang at simmons.edu) via email and provide the
name of the SIG, and the name and contact information of your SIG
spokesperson who will be attending the event.

We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans!
