Dear All:

I am delighted to report that we received all reviews and were able to
send notifications to authors before the end of early registration. We
accepted 4 posters and 10 papers. We also have at least one student
paper winner participating, and possibly another 2. The papers fit
nicely into four main categories: Author Analysis, Tagging and Social
Media, Citation Analysis, and International Issues. My current plan is
to have three papers in each of those sections, with ample discussion
time and some pre-set discussion questions for the workshop on these
topics.

My current plan is to draft an initial program, send to the program
committee for review and then present to the SIG/MET officers for
final approval. I would like to have this online as soon as possible,
to encourage participation.
