[Sigmet-officers] nominations committee

Dear all,
 
Following on my email regarding the nominations committee, Dietmar has agreed to serve.  No-one has replied to my request for volunteers for the nominations committee.
 
Could someone else please volunteer to serve on the nominations committee so that we can start the election process?

Following on from a posting from Dietmar, I think it is time to begin focusing on electing the officers for 2011 to 2112.    
  
According to the SIG officers manual “The chair ... serve as chair of the SIG's nominating committee” and “Candidates for SIG officers should be nominated by a standing committee consisting of the SIG chair and two other SIG members appointed by the chair.”  I require two officers to join me on the standing (nominations) committee; who wants to be on this committee?
