Mark Needleman called the meeting to order at 5:06 p.m.

Need to find a chair-elect.  Colleen suggested Cindy Campbell.   Mark will 
ask her.  Please think about it and get back to Mark.

Mark noted that the program committee would like to see fewer, more focused 
program proposals.

Ideas for programs

Standards for metasearching - co-sponsor with Standards Committee
Which standards are dead?  Evolution of standards.  What will we be using 
in 5 years? Life cycle of standards
Proposed Speaker: Michael Leach; Mark Needleman will coordinate program

Project Level Metadata with STI

Metasearch Tools
Have someone talk about standards, a user, possibly a vendor like Peter 
Knorr, MUSE
Kevin Stevens, Mark Needleman

Web Cam reference

Privacy issues debate

Electronic resources and distance education - administrative tools, access 
issues, Electronic Resource Management Initiative, standardizing collection
