The SIG-LAN sponsored session. "Getting the most from your ILS" has been
accepted for the program at the annual conference this fall. However, we
have lost a presenter due to lack of funding, the venerable SIG-LAN
webmaster, Meg Rheingold. Would anyone like to fill her shoes? She was
planning on presenting on Webfeat, but a session on SFX might fit the bill
nicely too.
If you are interested please contact me ASAP so we can make sure to get
your name in the proceedings.
SIG-LAN will also be co-sponsoring two sessions; one on E-Books (with
SIG-DL and SIG-PUB) and another on Virtual Reference & Open Source Software
(with SIG-DL ). I believe that a few SIG-LAN members have arranged for
additional SIG-LAN sessions, so we should be well represented at the
conference.
Rgds,
Colleen
