I've completed a walking tour of the area near the Hyatt. There are several reasonably prices (per diem friendly) restaurants in the area.  Here's a quick run down.  
1 1/2 blocks walk:

Dear KM members,

We plan to go out for the dinner together after our planning meeting
on Monday 10/27.  The conference website has a restaurant guide:

Please response by Sunday night:
1.      Whether you will join us for the dinner or not so that we can make
an arrangement for the restaurant.
2.      Your preference to the restaurant. Both Heather and I don't know
much about Columbus. If you happen to know this city, please offer
your suggestions on the restaurant.

Heather and I will compile your responses and arrange a group dinner
for Monday night.
