[Sigkm-l] Post-doc Fellow in Knowledge Management

Dear All,

Following the successful recruitment of 3 post-doc fellows recently, 
the Department of Building & Real Estate of The Hong Kong Polytechnic 
University (PolyU) is recruiting 6 additional post-doctoral posts in 
the 2nd round. One of the potential topics can come under the large 
interdisciplinary area of Knowledge Management (KM) and the proposed 
research may examine, among others, specific issues within the 
construction industry in Hong Kong or drawing upon international 
comparison. In addition, studies can be proposed to examine different 
industrial sectors of which construction is one of the sectors being 
studied. Candidates must be doctorate degree holders in the areas of 
project management, construction management, knowledge management, 
information management, organizational learning, but need not be 
construction industry related.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree or an equivalent 
qualification and must have no more than three years of 
post-qualification experience at the time of application. Preference 
will be given to those with a good track record in research publication.

The potential candidate will work with a supervising team from the 
department and will also get involved in activities in the Knowledge 
Management Research Centre (KMRC)

of the University. PolyU's KMRC aggressively pursues action research 
with clients and collaborative companies and has gained an 
established track record of research and commercial KM projects in 
the region. The major areas of research in the KMRC are intellectual 
capital, knowledge system technologies, organizational learning, 
knowledge audit, and KM culture assessment and change.

The post-doctoral posts are for 2 years. Interested applicants are
