Goodwill Industries International, Inc. (GII) seeks a candidate to fill its Knowledge Management Director position. This position is responsible for helping to improve personal and organizational learning and performance effectiveness and to increase retention of knowledge by designing and managing processes to collect, organize, update, and make usable data and information accessible to local Goodwill and Membership Services Center (MSC) staff and by helping develop a culture of knowledge sharing.

 

This position requires a thorough knowledge of technology-based knowledge management systems, experience in designing, managing, and improving processes to make usable data and information accessible to staff; strong project management skills, investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a member-centered organization. A Master's Degree is preferred, in business administration, library sciences, organizational development, or any other relevant program. 

 

The candidate must have: five years experience (minimum) in knowledge management, library sciences, education, or organizational development and a minimum of three years experience in a chapter, member, or trade association, preferably in a management position.
